Adil Rashid Declares Unavailability for England’s Test Match

Adil Rashid decides to rule himself out for the upcoming England Test tour of Sri Lanka in March.

31-year-old English player Adil Ashid declares himself unavailable for the upcoming Test match of England against Sri Lanka. The player believes that he would have to earn his right once more to be a part of the team’s Test match lineup.

At the moment, Rashid is making himself busy with the upcoming T20 match that is bound to take place in a few days. He also confirmed that he is currently concentrating on white-ball cricket nowadays and that he’ll go back to county cricket.

The English leg-spinner decided that he’ll do his best in county cricket to earn himself enough merits to qualify for Test matches once again. He believed that his performance in the World Cup was just 50% of what he can really do and that he felt a difference with his body and shoulder.

If offered to be a part of the lineup, Rashid stated that he’ll politely say no due to the fact that he didn’t have the same snap that he had before. In fact, he definitely feels that he has to earn his spot back on the team.

England’s Test tour of Sri Lanka will start on the 19th of March. To know more about the different cricket formats, head over to Betwala.
