The veteran batter will take a shot in the Pakistan Super League’s 2020 edition as big names are set to join this season.
The fifth season of the Pakistan Super League is about to get really crazy with the rumours of big players throwing in their names in the league’s draft selection. The draft is set on December 6 and 7.
Big names in cricket such as Dale Steyn, Jason Roy, and Hashim Amla are expected to be in the draft list.
Hashim Amla is one of the names to look out for in the draft. He is the fastest player to hit 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 and 7000 ODI runs. He retired from all international cricket forms when they had a disappointing World Cup campaign that ended up poorly for the Proteas.
The former South African great is aiming to be selected in a PSL franchise. He tallied 9,282 Test runs in just 124 outings and had 8113 runs in 50-over cricket with an average of 46.1 and 49.47 respectively.
‘If the opportunity arises, I am really looking forward to taking part in the PSL and am really excited about that prospect’, said Amla. ‘During my time as a South Africa player, I did not get the opportunity to play for a PSL side due to my international commitments but now to get a chance to play in this tournament will be great’.
