The continuous defeats of the Tigers set them under pressure for the upcoming one-off Test.
The Bangladesh National Cricket Team also known as the Tigers are under pressure for the upcoming one-off Test against Zimbabwe because of successive defeats during their previous matches. The performance of the team is not on the good side as they lost a total of six Test matches and five innings defeats.
‘Obviously any team losing continuously will be under pressure and they will be under more pressure as they are playing at home’, Lalchand Rajput stated, the head coach of Zimbabwe. ‘Definitely, we are going put pressure on them because we have done well here the last time and we will try to impose that pressure’, he added.
Lalchand also stated that the Chevrons handle pressure well and take inspiration from their last Test series against Sri Lanka.
‘We just had a series against Sri Lanka which was a very good series for us, and in fact, we should have won the last Test match. In the end, taking a game to the fifth day is very important’, Rajput said.
The one-off Test between the Tigers and Chevrons will be from February 22 to 26 in Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. To learn more about Tests, check out Betwala’s page for more information.
