The one-off Test match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe is scheduled to happen on February 22.
On Sunday, the Bangladesh Cricket Board said that they will host Zimbabwe for a Test match. The upcoming series between the two cricket teams will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on February 22.
Currently, the T20I squad of Bangladesh is in the middle of a series against Pakistan. Then, the Test squad are preparing for the second leg of the Pakistan tour. The two Tests of the series will start on February 7, followed by the match with Zimbabwe.
The Test squad and skipper, Mommul Haque are in a skill training session under the Neil McKenzie-- their South African batting consultant. McKenzie declined to fly to Pakistan because of personal reasons.
Zimbabwe tour of Bangladesh will have one Test, three ODIs and two T20Is in Bangladesh from February to March.
The series will start with a two-day practice match in Dhaka from February 18 to 19, prior to the one-off Test in Mirpur on February 22.
Meanwhile, the ODIs will happen in Chattogram on March 1, 3 and 6. The two teams will head back to Mirpur for the two 20-over matches on March 9 and 11.
Zimbabwe’s last tour of Bangladesh was last year -- a tri-series including Afghanistan.
Right now, Bangladesh (+300) is in Pakistan (-370.37) for the third T20 match of their three-leg series.
