Bangladesh Wins With Sarkar and Das’ Half-Centuries

Soumya Sarkar and Liton Das both belted out stunning half-centuries which helped make Bangladesh win over Zimbabwe.

Following Bangladesh’s ODI whitewash against Zimbabwe, the Tigers once again tasted a sweet victory against the Chevrons on their first T20I match by 48 runs. Soumya Sarkar and Liton Das both proved themselves well as they had both contributed half-centuries for the team.

Liton Das and Tamim Iqbal worked well as opening partners for the Tigers. Pulling off a 92-run stand, the two definitely gave their best to lead the team towards victory. As Das showed his aggression during the said partnership, he was able to score a total of 59 runs.

Later on in the game, Soumya Sarkar took over and also gave out his best for the team. Coming in at no.3 instead of his usual batting position at no.6, Sarkar poured out his career-best of 62 runs. His performance remained unbeaten as he had scored 62 which featured 5 sixes and 4 boundaries. With that, it was undeniable that he deserved to be the Man of the Match.

With their edge against their opponents, the Tigers are indeed in for another win on their upcoming match against Zimbabwe at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The odds of the game are -666.67 for the Tigers and +419 for the Chevrons. For more credible betting odds, check out Betwala.
