Sharma is the ‘ODI Cricketer of the Year’ after scoring seven ODI hundreds, five of which were from the 2019 World Cup. The Indian opener scored 648 runs in the World Cup, only 25 runs away from Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 673 runs in the 2003 World Cup.
Kohli won the ‘ICC Spirit of Cricket’ award for his gesture in a match against Australia during the 2019 World Cup. The cameras caught his opposition towards the crowd’s hostile talking on Steve Smith from the other team.
