English player Dom Bess reveals how much he is pleased with his bowling rhythm that he may use in their upcoming Test match.
In the opening match of the West Indies tour of England 2020, English off-spinner Dom Bess took down two wickets in the first innings. However, he had a tough time in the second innings and went wicketless in his performance.
In a recent statement shared by Bess, he said, ‘I know I went wicketless but it could have turned. The thing that I'm focusing on is how well it's coming out at the moment. I do feel really dangerous and that's a great place to be. As a spinner, some will go your way some days and some won't, that is cricket. I don't look too much into that. I want to contribute with bat, ball and in the field. When my opportunities come I want to make sure I take them’.
‘I'm used to bowling on spinning wickets, I'm not worried. People talk about this pressure of it being on me on the last. I actually flip it round, it's a great opportunity. Hopefully when it spins is my time to shine and stand up for the side’, he added.
Regardless of the playing order, the 22-year-old reiterated that he knows how important it is to develop his game and hold off the challenge of playing with other great players. With that, make sure you don’t miss out the next game where the odds are -476.19 for England and +312 for the West Indies. To check out the updated odds, visit Betwala.
