The T20I series between England and South Africa recently wrapped up as the visiting team own over the hosts by 5 wickets on the final match.

England beat South Africa by having a total score of 226 for 5. The three biggest contributors to this overall score are Jonny Bairstow with 64, Eoin Morgan with 57 and Jos Buttler with 57.

This is the first series win for the English team since March last year. South Africa won the toss and decided to bat. The visitors chased the hosts’ second-highest score after half-centuries from Buttler, Bairstow and Morgan.

Now, England holds two out of the three trophies from the tour. In the ODI series, England and South Africa ended in a draw of 1-1.

This early on, the English team is already making preparations for the T20 World Cup that will happen later this year. A number of the English players are finding form as training for the tournament.

On the other hand, the South Africa team under Quinton de Kock needs to establish a good combination in the middle order.

England is scheduled to have a Test series against Sri Lanka which will start on March 19 at the Galle International Cricket Stadium. Meanwhile, South Africa will have a T20 series against Australia beginning on February 22 at the Imperial Wanderers Stadium.

England and South Africa are set to meet once again for a match on the upcoming T20 World Cup in October.
