The first Test of the India Tour of West Indies 2019 starts on August 22
The Test series of India's West Indies Tour this year follows the T20I and ODI series of the tour. Team India dominated both of the tour's previous series. India and West Indies are expected to play two Test matches for the tour's Test series. It starts on August 22 in Antigua.
India's former off-spinner Harbhajan Singh comments on who he thinks should be included in India's Test squad lineup for the tour. 'On current form, my No. 1 spinner will surely be Kuldeep for the way he takes the ball away from the left-handes and his wicket-taking abilities,' Singh stated.
'Ravindra Jadeja, too, has made most of the chances that he has got in Tests. Probably the only thing working in Ashwin's favour is his superb record against West Indies', Singh added. Ravichandran Ashwin was initially part of India's West Indies Tour. He did not play for India because of an injury. Kuldeep Yadav replaced Ashwin in the tour. Yadav is one of India's youngest players. He had his international cricket debut in 2017.
The tour's opening Test kicks off on August 22 and will continue until August 27. The odds are for India (-454.55) to win against West Indies (350) in the ongoing tour. You can check out more future match odds of other cricket events at Betwala.
