India Won Against New Zealand by 7 Wickets

The current T20I series score between India and Zealand is at 2-0. The visitors beat the hosts by 7 wickets in the most recent match.

After beating the hosting team on the opening match of the T20I series, India won the following match.

The second T20I took place at Eden Park, as well as the previous match. Last Sunday, India scored a total of 135/3 against New Zealand’s 132/5.

New Zealand won the toss and elected themselves to bat. The chase of 133 was an easy win for the visiting team. However, Rohit Sharma fell in the first over and Virat Kohli was caught down the leg side. After the two wickets, India only made 63 runs after 11 overs.

On the other hand, the hosting team couldn’t handle the pressure and ended up losing after imposing only a total of 132.

The player of the match was KL Rahul, after contributing 57 to his team’s overall score. Rahul, along with Shreyas Iyer were the winning duo of the Men in Blue. Both cricket players finished with a strike rate of over 200, last Friday.

The third T20I match between New Zealand (+136) and India (-161.29) is scheduled tomorrow at Seddon Park.
