Royal Challengers Bangalore: Faf du Plessis (c), Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Sherfane Rutherford, Wanindu Hasaranga, Shahbaz Ahmed, David Willey, Harshal Patel, Akash Deep, Mohammad Siraj
Two players to watch out for from both teams
RR – Yuzvendra Chahal and Jos Buttler
All eyes will be on Yuzvendra Chahal, who will be playing against his former franchise RCB. Chahal was one of the leading wicket-takers for the Bangalore based franchise and has started his new journey with the Royals on an impressive note, picking five wickets in the first two games. Another player to watch out for is Jos Buttler, who fired on all cylinders in the previous game against Mumbai. Buttler scored a century and will be looking to take the same momentum into this game.
RCB – Faf du Plessis and Harshal Patel
Faf du Plessis, the new captain of the Royal Challengers, scored a fine half-century in the opening game and missed a century by just 12 runs. Du Plessis is expected to lead Bangalore’s batting from the front all through the tournament. Fast bowler Harshal Patel, on the other hand, was the highest wicket-taker of IPL 2021 and bowled a superb spell of 2 for 11 against KKR in Bangalore’s most recent game.
Who will win the match between RR and RCB?
While there is still a lot of dew during the second half of all IPL 2022 matches, it can be noted that the last four games of the season were won by the team batting first. Rajasthan come into this game with form and momentum on their side, and a squad that looks more balanced than that of RCB. Bangalore’s batting has been poor in both their games so far and if their batsmen do not step up, we predict this to be an easy win for Rajasthan.
