Lucknow Super Giants will take on the Delhi Capitals in match 15 of the Indian Premier League 2022. The contest will be played at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai.
Lucknow Super Giants are currently placed fifth in the points table after winning two of their three games. They lost their first game to Gujarat Titans, but won the following two against Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively. Both their batsmen and bowlers have done a decent job in the last two games. Avesh Khan picked up four wickets in his most recent outing while the all-rounders have contributed with both the bat and all.
Delhi Capitals, meanwhile, have played two games so far, winning one. With two points, they are placed seventh in the points table. In their first game of the season, the Capitals beat Mumbai by four wickets but lost their second game to Gujarat Titans by 14 runs. Chasing 171 to win, they could muster only 157 with the top order and lower middle order failing to contribute. Rishabh Pant was the lone warrior with a knock of 43.
Delhi are yet to perform up to mark this season and some of their big names have disappointed. Lucknow, on the other hand, have delivered as a team with contributions coming from every department. The Rishabh-Pant led side will have to step up with the bat if they want to cause an upset over an upbeat LSG.
