Kolkata Knight Riders will play against the Delhi Capitals in match 19 of IPL 2022. The game will be played at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium, which has been a wonderful batting pitch in the games played there thus far.
Kolkata come into this game with a lot of momentum and confidence. They have won three of their four games, and all of those wins came by a big margin. Most recently, a Pat Cummins masterclass helped KKR chase down the target set by Mumbai Indians in 16 overs. Cummins scored the joint-fastest half century in IPL history to rescue Kolkata from trouble after their middle order collapsed.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, have lost two of their three games. Their most recent loss came against Lucknow Super Giants after being unable to defend a small total. Batting first, the Capitals put up 149 runs on the board with major contribution coming from opener Prithvi Shaw, who top scored with 61 runs. Later, the Delhi bowlers did a good job to take the game to the last over.
Kolkata have a solid bowling line-up while Delhi have a lot of big hitters in their ranks. The contest between the two is thus likely to be an exciting one.
