Rajasthan Royals will take on the Gujarat Titans in match 24 of Indian Premier League 2022. The game will be played at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. Both the teams have done well so far in the tournament, this promising us an exciting game of cricket on the cards.
The Sanju Samson-led side is currently right at the top of the points table. Having won three of their four games, the Royals have six points in their kitty. In their most recent game against the Lucknow Super Giants, Royals’ bowlers did a very good job to defend a score of 165. Although Yuzvendra Chahal gave away 41 runs, he was the best wicket-taker with four wickets. Trent Boult also contributed with two wickets.
Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, are currently fifth in the points table with three wins in four games. However, they come into this game on the back of a loss to the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Batting first, they managed to score just 162 runs. Captain Hardik Pandya top scored with an unbeaten 50 while Abhinav Manohar scored 35 off 21.
But the target was perhaps too little for the bowlers to defend it. Sunrisers openers Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma put up big partnership for the opening wicket to help their side go over the line with five balls remaining.
It is difficult to predict who will win the game between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans. Both the teams have match winners in their ranks and promise us an exciting contest that could go down to the wire.
