IPL 2022 Match 26: MI vs LSG preview

Mumbai Indians will take on Lucknow Super Giants in the 26th match of IPL 2022. Mumbai, the most successful team in the IPL, are still looking for their first win after losing all their first five matches this season. Some of their biggest names have disappointed. Suryakumar Yadav since his return has been the sole warrior of the batting side and once again there will be a lot of expectations from him.

Lucknow, on the other hand, lost their most recent game after winning their first three matches on a trot. The Super Giants in their most recent game against the Rajasthan Royals suffered a top-order collapse which cost them the game. But they have a very strong squad which will be a big challenge for the Mumbai Indians to overcome. KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock are perhaps this season's most destructive openers, while Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni have consistently delivered in the middle order. They also have three solid all rounders in Krunal Pandya, Marcus Stoinis and Jason Holder.

If we are to predict a winner between Lucknow and Mumbai, the former stand much better chances than the latter to gain 2 points.
