Gujarat Titans will play against defending champions Chennai Super Kings in match 29 of IPL 2022 at the MCA stadium in Pune.
Led by Hardik Pandya, Gujarat Titans have played a brilliant brand of cricket so far in their maiden IPL season. They have won four of their five games and are thus seated right at the top of the points table.
They come into this game on the back of a comprehensive 37-run win over the Rajasthan Royals. Pandya scored an unbeaten half century to guide his team to a total of 193 in the first innings. Lockie Ferguson and Yash Dayal picked up three wickets each to ensure that the Royals were not able to chase down the target.
Chennai, on the other hand, come into this game after winning their first game of this season in their last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The major concern for the side this season has been their bowlers, who have leaked plenty of runs.
The Titans have a much stronger squad as compared to the Super Kings and are thus favourites to win the match.
