Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings will come face to face in the 32nd match of IPL 2022 today.
The game was supposed to be played in Pune, but with a few Covid19 cases in the Delhi Capitals camp, it has been moved to Mumbai.
Mitchell Marsh, who played his first game of the season in the previous game after returning from injury, tested positive for Covid-19 along with a few members of the support staff. And only hours before the game against Punjab, another unnamed overseas player has tested positive.
DC lost their most recent game to RCB by 16 runs after failing to chase a target of 190 runs. The last five overs were particularly expensive when the DC bowlers conceded 74 runs.
Punjab Kings, on the other hand, come into this game on the back of a loss to the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Batting first, they put up just 151 runs and SRH chased down the target in 18.5 overs. With 6 points under their belt, PBKS are 7th in the points table while DC are in the 8th position with 4 points.
