An upbeat Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on a struggling Chennai Super Kings in match 46 of IPL 2022. A big news that has come in from the Chennai camp ahead of the game is that Ravindra Jadeja, who was entrusted with the role of captaincy at the start of the season, has handed back the position to former skipper MS Dhoni. The decision, as per reports, has been made keeping in mind the poor performance of the team in this edition of the tournament. CSK are placed at the bottom of the points table and are virtually out of the contention for the playoffs even if they win all their remaining league games.
Sunrisers, meanwhile, are in the fourth spot with five wins in eight games. Their pace attack has been very impressive with the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Nataraj and Umran Malik, all three perfoming well.
In the past, CSK and SRH have played 17 games between them, with Chennai winning 12 of those.
