Chennai Super Kings will take on the Gujarat Titans in match 62 of IPL 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Gujarat Titans are currently right at the top of the points table with 16 points and a win in this game will ensure them a top two spot, i.e. two chances to make the finals.
CSK, meanwhile, are already out of the race to the playoffs and will be playing their last two league games for pride.
When the two teams met earlier this season, the Titans won by three wickets. Batting first, the Super Kings posted a total of 169 runs in their 20 overs with the help of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ambati Rayudu's knocks. Gaikwad top scored with a knock of 73 while Rayudu missed a half century by four runs. Chasing 170 to win, the Titans lost early wickets but an unbeaten 94 by David Miller helped them get over the line with a ball to spare.
