Rajasthan Royals will take on the Chennai Super Kings in match 68 of the IPL 2022. This is the last game of the season for CSK as they have already been eliminated from the playoffs. RR, meanwhile, are placed third in the points table. A win in this game will give them a top two finish and a better chance to make the finals.
CSK had a very disappointing season, managing just four wins in 13 matches. They started the season with Ravindra Jadeja as captain but with poor results under his leadership, the captaincy was handed back to MS Dhoni for the second half of the tournament.
Rajasthan will be banking upon Jos Buttler for another good knock. The opener is currently the Orange Cap holder with 627 runs in 13 games at an average of 52 and strike rate of 148. In the bowling department, they will be primarily dependent on Yuzvendra Chahal, who is the current highest wicket taker with 24 wickets in 13 matches. Shimron Hetmyer is also back with the team after a short visit home for the birth of his child.
CSK, meanwhile, will be looking to end the tournament on a winning note. In the past, Chennai have won 15 of the total 26 games played against Rajasthan.
