The All-Stars match has been postponed to the end of the season due to IPL franchise concerns.
It was confirmed that the Indian Premier League (IPL) All-Stars match which is supposed to take place three days before the 13th season of IPL has been postponed. ‘We are not calling it off, it has just been postponed to the end of the tournament. We wanted to see how the players are performing, and on the basis of that, form the teams for the All-Star match’, Brijesh Patel, the IPL GC Chairman stated.
It was also reported that the IPL franchises expressed their concerns and did not want to risk losing their star players due to an injury even before the official season of the IPL.
