Bumrah is the third Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in Tests
Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah was asked by a female reporter to choose the better captain of the team between Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. Bumrah answered the question despite of its trickiness. He picked MS Dhoni because he was the captain of the team during the time he debuted in international cricket.
‘Yeah, this is a tough question. But, for me, MS Dhoni. Because I made his debut under him’, Bumrah said.
During the end of the West Indies tour, there had been talks on who’s the better captain between Kohli and Dhoni. Virat Kohli is now the most successful Indian captain in Tests after the team earned their 28th Test win under his captaincy. He surpassed MS Dhoni’s record of 27 Test wins.
Jasprit Bumrah made his Test debut in South Africa in 2018. He is 12 Tests old but he has claimed 62 wickets. In the final Test match against the West Indies in Jamaica, he claimed a hat-trick and a five-wicket haul. The fast bowler received a lot of praise for his spectacular achievement.
