Junaid Khan Opens Up About Treatment

The cricketer opened up about how the management mistreated him.

Pakistan cricketer Junaid Khan recently shared a picture of him with tape over his mouth, it was obvious that things weren’t well within the camp. He wasn’t a dig at the selectors, but rather, at the entire team management. He, along with Faheem Ashraf and Abid Ali, was dropped from the National team that was to play in the World Cup. In their place were Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir, and Asif Ali.

Junaid has opened up about the incident and is accusing the team management of unfair treatment. He was disappointed that despite his excellent performance, he was removed from the team. He is also angry at the Pakistan Cricket Board for not giving him a head’s up.

He deleted his post that read ‘I don’t want to say anything. Truth is bitter’ after fans contacted him and told him that it could bring a bad image to Pakistan. He also said that he had received multiple offers to play full-time for England but he refused stating that ‘I always put Pakistan way ahead of my personal ambitions’.

Junaid is positive that with the new management of the PCB, he will get to represent his country in future games.

Pakistan’s next tournament will be a tour of Australia which will begin in November this year. To find out more Pakistan’s future games and the respective odds, visit Betwala’s page.
