India, through a hard-fought victory, won the third and final match of their T20I series against the West Indies. Because of this, they ended up winning the series. KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma put up a batting exhibition at the Wankhede Stadium to put up a score of 240 runs. Kohli and Rahul paired up for 67 runs. Kohli was named as Man of the Match while Rahul was named Man of the Series.
Both batsmen displayed exceptional batting all throughout the series. While the skipper scored a total of 183 runs at an amazing strike-rate of 190.62, Rahul proved his importance as an opener with 164 total runs at a strike-rate of 153.27. Because of their great performances, both players were included in the latest ICC T20I batsman rankings. Rahul, meanwhile, climbed to the sixth position, passing Evin Lewis.
Kohli is in tenth place while Shamra is at ninth with 685 rating points. Babar Azam leads the table, while Aussies Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell, England's Dawid Malan, and Kiwi Colin Munro make up the top five.
