The Bangla Tigers of the Abu Dhabi T10 Cricket tournament appoints Lance Klusener as their new team director.
The Bangla Tigers finished third in their maiden season last year. With that, the team decided to include former South African all-rounder and current Afghanistan head coach Lance Klusener to be a part of the management as the team director.
As per Bangla Tigers chairman Mohammad Yasin Chowdhury, ‘Bangla Tigers is working on to make the team one of strongest in the tournament and for this reason, Lance Klusener has been added to the team management. I think his cricketing career along with his experience and knowledge will lead the team in the right direction’.
Klusener’s record shows that he has already played for 220 international matches. He has also scored a total of 5,482 runs and has scored 272 wickets which made him the head coach of Afghanistan last year. Aside from that, he has some good experiences with leading teams as he had also served to be the batting coach of South Africa and Zimbabwe.
