Lanka Premier League to Start on August 28

The inaugural season of the Lanka Premier League will be held from August 28 to September 20, 2020. 

Sri Lanka Cricket will hold the start of the Lanka Premier League which has 23 matches. Finally, the league’s inaugural season will be launched on August 28 and it is expected to end on September 20, 2020. 

The LPL is comprised of five teams from Colombo, Kandy, Galle, Dambulla, and Jaffna. There, 70 international players and 10 high-profile coaches will participate as it had already been confirmed by the SLC. 

The matches will be played at the Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium.
