Manish Pandey was called for the upcoming match against Jammu and Kashmir, but won't captain the team.

Indian batsman, Manish Pandey is included in Karnataka’s squad for the Ranji Trophy quarter-final against Jammu and Kashmir on February 20. Meanwhile, KL Rahul will sit out for the upcoming match to get rest.

In December last year, both Rahul and Pandey helped Karnataka seal the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. So far in the current season, neither of the two players participated in any match for the domestic team.

Pandey led Karnataka for both the Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali and helped the team seal both season titles. During his absence, Karun Nair stood in as captain and will proceed to do so for the match against Jammu and Kashmir.

Manish Pandey used to play for the Kolkata Knight Riders, but is now part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad for the Indian Premier League.

The 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League is set to happen from March 29 to May 24 with the participation of 8 teams including Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab among others.
