Bangladesh’s off-spinner is keen to pull off an impressive outing in his first-ever day-night Test against Team India.
Mehidy Hasan makes a bold claim about Bangladesh playing their first-ever pink-ball Test. Also, this would be also the team’s first day-night Test, which would make it interesting in between the two teams.
Bangladesh dropped the opening Test to India when they played in Indore for three days. They are now faced with the challenge of battling against a red-hot pace attack by the Men in Blue.
Coming off a practice session with the team, an optimistic Mehidy told the reporters how the team feels regarding the circumstances that the teams will be playing in.
‘It's a totally new experience, we are not tensed at all. I think we all are excited to play the day-night Test with pink ball for the first time’, said Mehidy. ‘That's a matter of huge excitement. We remain normal and take the preparation that we usually take before any match’.
Mehidy believes that he and other spinners can wreak havoc although pacers are expected to deal more damage. He is hoping to deliver well for his team that is seeking to tie the series.
