The limited-overs captain of England, Eoin Morgan is hopeful to bring and lead his team to the following two T20 World Cups.
Previously, Eoin Morgan took a break from cricket after the five T20I series against New Zealand. He revealed that this rest gave him enough time to address and establish his priorities.
Morgan said that he is in a better state and is feeling more confident on the next two T20 World Cups. He is hoping to lead his team for the upcoming tournaments.
However, he added, ‘But things change, when you make decisions to stay on or continue, the majority of the time, that decision is taken out of your hands. For me, it's a matter of focusing on this year's T20 World Cup, doing the best we can to put ourselves in a position to try to win it and then look beyond that as well’.
He also claimed that the past four years have been the best form of his life. Now, he is more experienced and has made him more confident as a leader.
Since their World Cup match against South Africa last year, this will be England’s first ODI match. The team is currently looking to bag their second T20 World Cup championship title, with their first victory in 2010.
Currently, England (-172.41) is in the middle of an ODI series against South Africa (+144) until February 9.
