Star Sports sent a proposal to the BCCI to invite former captains to do commentary for the Day Night Test
Legendary Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is unlikely to be present for commentary in the Day-Night Test between the Men in Blue and the Tigers. A few days ago, Star Sports sent a proposal to the BCCI to invite former Indian captains to do commentary in the match.
A source was asked about Dhoni’s availability to do commentary. However, the source answered that ‘there is no way’ that the former captain will commentate.
A BCCI source also spoke about the proposal. ‘Yes, the broadcasters have sent the proposal but no decision has been taken as of now. If BCCI gives the permission then Dhoni would be seen doing commentary in day-night Test to be played at the Eden Gardens’.
MS Dhoni was not featured in any match following India’s exit from World Cup 2019 semi-final. His retirement from cricket is still speculated by fans.
India is scheduled to play the first Day-Night Test against Bangladesh from November 14 to 18. Odds for the first Test will be available soon. Check out the latest cricket odds on Betwala.
