MS Dhoni is set to return to the Chennai Super Kings for the 2020 IPL after being away from the game for a while.
MS Dhoni will start training with the available CSK team members in preparation for IPL 2020. The captain of the Chennai Super Kings, who led the team into winning the IPL title three times, would definitely want to have a great startup for this season’s IPL tournament.
The former Men in Blue captain can be recalled to have not played any form of cricket ever since the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup. After almost a year, Dhoni decides to return to play cricket on his second home, the MA Chidambaram Stadium, which serves as the home court of the Chennai team.
His training will start on March 2 along with other available players of the team like Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu who started training a few weeks back. The full camp training of the team will begin on March 19 in preparation for their upcoming IPL matches.
In the last two years, the practice sessions of the CSK had been flocked by the fans. This year, with MS Dhoni’s early arrival, the number of fans who will watch the team’s preparation is expected to rise once more.
