16-year-old Pakistan bowler Naseem Shah pulled off a hat-trick in their match against Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan scored a sweet victory in a Test match against the Bangladesh Cricket Team. Contributing a lot to the team’s success was the man of the match Naseem Shah who pulled off an impressive hat-trick in the game.
Upon winning the toss, Pakistan chose to bowl first and proved to have made the right decision. Shah’s bowling skills dismissed the trio that Bangladesh had prepared. During the 16-year-old’s turn, Nazmul Hossain Shanto was called off with a proven lbw while Taijul Islam and Mahmudullah Riyad were bowled out respectively.
Shah’s performance made him the youngest player to pull-off a hat-trick not just in Bangladesh but in the whole world. He had beaten the record of Bangladesh’s Alok Kapali who also happened to make a Test hat-trick at age 19 in a match against Pakistan.
With the help of Shah’s performance, Pakistan bagged home another victory against Bangladesh as they scored 445 runs against the latter’s 401.
Pakistan is bound to have another match against the Bangladeshi team in an ODI format in March and another Test match on the first week of April. To know more about the different cricket formats, head over to Betwala.
