English player Ollie Pope has been left out of the game due to a shoulder issue which he had incurred during the game.
The English team will not see Ollie Pope on the field on their third Test match against Pakistan. The reason as to why Pope had been ruled out is because his shoulder injury has been triggered during the second innings.
It is the same shoulder which got dislocated when he played for Surrey last year. The same injury has caused him to miss out the majority of the 2019 season where he had been sidelined for a total of three months.
With him being ruled out throughout the day after he slid to save the boundary off of Stuart Broad’s second ball of the first over, James Bracey had to play as a substitute fielder for Pope.
As per English head coach Chris Silverwood, ‘He's obviously banged his shoulder again, so he will go for a scan on that, and we'll assess from there, really. We'll know more once he's had a scan’.
So far, the odds for the last Test match between the two teams are +0.98 for England and +1860 for Pakistan. To learn more about the latest cricket odds, head over to Betwala.
