Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Shikhar Dhawan have returned to the Men in Blue after recovering from their injuries.
The Men in Blue had announced their team lineup for the upcoming home series against South Africa. With that, the team will see three returning players who each had recovered from their injuries. Respectively, the three returning players are Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Shikhar Dhawan. Rohit Sharma, who had sustained a calf injury last month, remains unincluded from the lineup.
As it can be recalled, Hardik Pandya last played for the team in a T20I against South Africa last year before he underwent back surgery. Kumar, on the other hand, recovered from a handful of injuries which included a hamstring and groin injury. Meanwhile, Dhawan is already fit to play after he had suffered from a shoulder injury in an ODI against New Zealand last January.
With the return of some players comes the fact that some had been dropped out of the lineup. Some of those who have been dropped were Shardul Thakur, Shivam Dube, and Mayank Agarwal.
The match between the Men in Blue and the Proteas will commence on March 12 in Dharamshala. The odds for the game are yet to be posted so make sure to check out Betwala for updates.
