Rahul wants to keep his unique celebration to himself after he made his 3rd ODI ton against West Indies.
KL Rahul was nothing short of amazing in the Men in Blue’s comeback victory over the West Indies in the second ODI of the three-match series. The team won by 107 runs to tie the series heading to the last leg of the series which is set on December 22nd.
Rahul played well when India made a total of 387 runs, making a big change following their defeat in the first ODI. Rahul, along with Rohit Sharma, willed the team to a flying start by putting up a 227-run opening combo.
Sharma smashed a quick-fire 159 that was made of 17 fours and five sixes. He led the scoring for the team, but Rahul made a big show after nailing 102 runs off 104 balls. He has been impressive in stepping up with Shikhar Dhawan’s absence.
Rahul did a unique celebration that caught the eyes of the fans at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
He was asked about that as soon as the team finished their innings. He did not give a single answer about it, and simply said ‘I will let it stay a mystery’. He covered his ears with his fingers after hitting the ton.
