Ross Taylor once again stars in an impressive New Zealand chase after scoring his 21st ODI century that helped the team win.
New Zealand won against India with their second-biggest chase ever. Scoring a total of 348 at Seddon Park in Hamilton, the Black Caps has beaten their record of 347 runs against the Australian team which happened at the same stadium.
Ross Taylor proved himself to be one of the team’s assets as he yet again starred in New Zealand’s greatest chase. This has been the fourth time that Taylor had starred on the Black Caps’ highest ODI chases.
In the game, Ross had scored his 21st ODI century after scoring a total of 109 runs. The 35-year-old player seemed to be unstoppable on the field as he helped his team redeem themselves from their previous 8-wicket loss against the Men in Blue.
Taylor played with team captain Tom Latham on the field and had made an impressive partnership together. It may be recalled that Latham and Taylor had also starred on some of New Zealand’s impressive games.
It has been a year since Taylor had last scored a century so his astounding performance had indeed blown the minds of those who watched the game. In fact, his performance on their match against the Indian team made him the Player of the Match.
The next match between the two teams will be held at the Eden Park on the 8th of February where the odds are +160 for the Black Caps and -192.31 for the Men in Blue. To check out other odds for other upcoming matches, head over to Betwala.
