This is the third Test match of the Ashes 2019 series
England Test squad lineup for the third Test match of this year's Ashes series has now been revealed. The match will start on August 22 and will be held at the Headingley in Leeds, England. The third Test of the series follows the Lord's Test that ended with a draw.
Jason Roy and Joe Denly are some of England's players for the upcoming Test. Roy had 40 runs at 10 while Denly scored 85 runs in the first two Tests. Sam Curran is also selected to play for Leeds Test. This is his first time to play in this year's Ashes. England's key players Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer continue to play as well. Meanwhile, Moeen Ali who was dropped from the team after the opening Test against Australia was not included in the lineup. James Anderson also sits out Leeds Test because of his calf injury.
Australia won the opening Test match of the Ashes 2019 series. Since the second Test at Lord's ended in a draw, Australia currently leads in this year's Ashes. The team is also the defending champion of the series as they won the previous Ashes.
