In the fifth day of the third Test, England won over South Africa by an innings and 53 runs.
Temba Bavuma, Beuran Hendricks, Keegan Petersen and Andile Phehlukwayo have been recalled for the upcoming final Test match of South Africa against England. The four of the five released South African players will be included in the squad and are for selection for the important Test match.
South Africa won the first Test but ended up losing in the second. The hosts are facing another defeat for the final match, making the last Test more crucial.
Bavuma is more probable to secure a spot in the XI after an incredible 180 for Lions against Dolphins. Similarly, Hendricks grabbed a three-wicket haul in the first innings.
The four recalled players won’t be available for the next round of the Domestic Franchise Four-Day series. However, the last of the released players, Rudi Second wasn’t recalled and would be available to play for the Warriors.
In day five of the third Test match, England dominated over South Africa by scoring a total of 499 against South Africa’s 209 & 237 all out.
The fourth and final Test will start this Friday, January 24. England is predicted to win over the hosts with odds of -204.08 over South Africa with +170.
