Pakistan and Sri Lanka recently concluded the third One Day International (ODI) match at the National Stadium in Karachi. The home team won by five wickets after scoring 299 for 5 while the visitors scored 297 for 9. Pakistan is leading in the three-match ODI series with one match abandoned.
Sri Lanka chased the 306-run target set by the home team. However, they failed and registered their lowest total in ODIs.
Pakistan Cricket Team skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed achieved a new record which matched Indian Cricket Team’s former team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He is the second wicket-keeper to lead in 50 ODI matches. He won 27 matches out of those 50.
MS Dhoni led the Indian Cricket Team in 200 ODI matches and won 110. The match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is the highest-scoring match recorded at the National Stadium.
