The Bangladesh Women Cricket Team will tour Pakistan in ten days
The Bangladesh Women’s Cricket Team is set to tour Pakistan. The two teams will play two One Day International and three Twenty20 International matches in Lahore. However, there are concerns raised about the upcoming tour. They are just waiting for a clearance from the Bangladesh government which will allow them to go.
Security is the top concern with the team’s tour in Pakistan. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chairman Akram Khan said that they would only get the full details once the security team goes to Pakistan. 'As you all know, the BCB president mentioned how security is the top priority on tours after the New Zealand incident (when a terrorist killed 50 people inside two mosques in Christchurch)’, he said.
Khan also spoke about the go signal that will be given to them. ‘Security is definitely a concern but at the same time, we have to think about the development of women's cricket. But I have said it repeatedly that only when we get the government's green signal, will we go forward’, he said.
The Bangladesh Women’s Cricket Team’s tour of Pakistan will begin on October 23. Odds for the upcoming match will be available soon. Check out the latest cricket odds on Betwala.
