Although Priya Puniya hasn’t been featured in India’s T20I for either the South Africa home series or the West Indies tour, she was still backed with a C category contract. Since her debut on the New Zealand tour last February 2019, she’s played eight limited-overs for India.
Meanwhile, Harleen Deol made her ODI and T20I debut during a home series against England in February to March last year. Unfortunately, she suffered a toe injury and missed India A’s tour of Australia and the Senior Women’s T20 Challenger trophy. Despite this, she was still included in the squad for the upcoming tri-series in Australia.
