Shehzad Says He Can Play for 12 More Years

The Shaheens opener believes that he could still play for more cricket as he is still entering his prime years since making his debut in 2009.

Ahmed Shehzad is one of Pakistan’s best players. He had 2605 runs in 81 ODIs, 982 runs in 13 Tests, and 1471 runs in 59 T20Is while having a strong total of 10 centuries in his amazing cricket career.

Making his debut about a decade ago in 2009, the right-handed opener has written history and has claimed a lot of achievements in his international career so far. He was the first Shaheens player to score a T20I hundred while also being the first to score centuries in all three formats for the team.

Known for his blazing attitude in the game, he is still hoping to continue playing and have a long career. He says that he has learned a lot in his career and is aspiring to play for his team for 12 more years.

‘The past two years have been tough for but I have learned a lot in that span of time and hopefully this will prove beneficial in my upcoming years in cricket’, said Shehzad. ‘Bearing in mind my fitness and skills, I think I can represent Pakistan for another 12 years and that is not an exaggeration’.
