Shinwari Set to Miss Second Test Against Sri Lanka

The Shaheens will have a shorthanded lineup in their second Test as the team will have to play without their fast bowler.

After a disappointing draw in their first Test, it seems that Pakistan must come up with a much-needed win in the second Test against Sri Lanka. They will have to make use of home advantage in Karachi to win to win the series.

Inclement weather and poor light left the first Test in a disappointing draw. Now both sides are aiming to come up with a win in the two-match series, and hopefully come up with 60 ICC Test Championship points.

For Pakistan, however, it seems that they will have to come up with a creative solution if they are to win the second action of the Test series.

Usman Shinwari will miss the second Test against Sri Lanka and has been declared out of contention for the Karachi Test. He was sent to the hospital after the tall lanky bowler had a high fever. He will be unlikely available for selection in the second Test.

Both sides have injury concerns going into the Karachi Test. It would be a tough challenge as both teams will have to fight an aggressive battle in order to win the series.

The odds still favour Pakistan as they have -370.37 in the latest odds, while Sri Lanka has 295. Make sure to always check on the latest cricket odds on Betwala.
