Former Proteas pacer Dale Steyn makes a strong point on his pick as the best bowler in current Cricket after answering a certain fan question on Twitter.
India recently claimed an impressive win over Bangladesh in their first game of the two-match Test series. They went on to win with an innings and 130 runs as they delighted the home crowd at Holkar Stadium to grab the series lead.
The team amassed a huge lead of 343 runs to defeat Bangladesh. Mohammed Shami was sensational in the team’s win when he led Team India’s tough bowling lineup to cripple Bangladesh’s efforts.
The 29-year-old notched three wickets along with five maidens in the first innings before picking up four more in the second innings while conceding 31 runs to come up with seven maidens.
In the last two years, he has been the most successful bowler when bowling in the second innings. Team India’s speedster has tallied 51 wickets under his belt for only 20 innings. He has been rocking the list along with Australia’s Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon, who has 48 and 47, respectively.
