Tendulkar Asks Twitter For Help in Finding Old Friend

The Indian cricket legend has taken tweeting into a whole new level after asking for help in a social media site.

Sachin Tendulkar took his time with all of his fans on Twitter. He asked for help last Saturday on the social media site in finding a waiter who gave an advice to the cricket legend in the past which led to Tendulkar redesigning his elbow guard.

The most successful batsman to ever play the game met a waiter some time while playing a Test Series in Chennai. The latter advised him to come up with a change in his elbow guard that allowed Tendulkar to make better swings in his games.

The 46-year-old heeded the advice and did redesign his elbow guard from that day and played with that design for the rest of his memorable career. He had a lot of records that gave him the status to be India’s forebearer in all different formats of the game.

‘A chance encounter can be memorable! I had met a staffer at Taj Coromandel’, said Tendulkar in his tweet. ‘Chennai during a Test series with whom I had a discussion about my elbow guard, after which I redesigned it. I wonder where he is now & wish to catch up with him. Hey netizens, can you help me find him?’

The legend thrived in all formats of the game. To know more about the formats that Tendulkar dominated during his great career, check on Betwala’s cricket guide.
