The two Men in Blue players scored good figures in the second T20I in Mohali
The ICC T20I Rankings were updated. In the batsmen rankings, Indian Cricket Team skipper Virat Kohli reached the 11th spot with a rating of 659. He captained the T20I squad of the Men in Blue who competed in the home series against the South African Cricket Team. Kohli scored 72 runs in the second T20I in Mohali.
Right-arm spinner Shikhar Dhawan rose into the 13th spot with a rating of 639. He scored 40 runs in the second T20I, then he was caught by South Africa’s David Miller. Meanwhile, India’s T20I vice-captain Rohit Sharma grabbed the 8th spot.
The team captain of the South African Cricket Team, Quinton de Kock, moved up to the 30th rank from the 49th spot. In the third and final T20I in Bengaluru, he shouldered the team by scoring 79 runs in 52 balls. It led to the team’s victory, ending the series 1-1.
India, who is in the 4th spot of the T20I team rankings, is behind the Proteas. The two teams competed in the third and final T20I match in Bengaluru. India failed to win the match to lead the series. They were defeated by the Proteas by nine wickets.
