The Big Bash League is about to wrap up in a week, with only five T20 matches left.
So far, Melbourne Stars’ Glenn Maxwell is dominating the current Big Bash League, leading his team to the top along with Marcus Stoinis.
The Big Bash League started on December 17, 2019, and is set to conclude on February 8, next week. The defending champion from the last edition was the Melbourne Renegades.
Last Monday, the Melbourne Renegades won their match against Brisbane Heat by 7 wickets, having a total score of 155/3. Brisbane Heat won the toss and elected themselves to bat. The match took place at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.
Maxwell was impactful in both bath and ball. His overall impact is at 859, making him by far, the top-ranking player for the 2019-20 Big Bash League.
One of the best knocks in the tournament was Maxwell’s unbeaten 83 from 45 deliveries from a match against the Melbourne Renegade.
As a bowler, Maxwell has taken seven wickets from 31 overs and his economy rate of 6.8 was the second-best for players who bowled at least 150 deliveries.
The next match for the Big Bash League will happen tomorrow, between the Hobart Hurricanes (-151.52) and Sydney Thunder (+128).
