Pakistan cricket player Umar Akmal showed unpleasant behaviour after failing to meet the requirements of their fitness test.
Pakistan cricket fans may have observed how Umar Akmal has been out of the international cricket scene for some time now. Akmal made his last appearance at the home series against Sri Lanka and wasn’t able to do much in his last two matches that’s why he had been placed at the back of the team’s selection of players.
Umar Akmal seemed to have been one of Pakistan’s most impressive players when he made his debut back in 2009. He served to be a mainstay of the team until his form and fitness condition turned out to be poor. His condition made him dropped out of the team.
In an attempt to get back to his playing career, Akmal once again took the fitness test at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) to qualify for the team. However, he did not meet the required score to pass the tests. The 29-year-old player was obviously disappointed with the result.
With his disappointment and frustration with the results, Akmal seemed to have an outburst of emotions after failing the test. Instead of quietly accepting the result, he then proceeded to take off his shirt while asking the trainers to point out the fat on his body.
The misconduct that he has shown will lead him to face some punishments. Aside from some punishments, he also faces the possibility of being kicked out of the next domestic tournament.
Aside from being a part of the Pakistani team, Umar Akmal is a part of the Quetta Gladiators of the Pakistan Super League. To know more about the Pakistan Super League, head over to Betwala.
