Here are all the 1st-week highlights for the month of June. 

Several national cricket teams are hopeful about the resumption of their training sessions. With that, Sri Lanka Cricket has announced that 13 of their national players will take part in a 12-day residential training camp. Meanwhile, Bangladesh cricketers had been denied training permission as the board continues to ensure the safety of all.

Meanwhile, new head coaches are also being appointed across cricket organizations to prepare for the sport’s resumption. This includes Tinu Yohannan for Kerala and Trent Woodhill for the Melbourne Stars.

The West Indies tour of England is getting ready to kick-off the start of cricket after the lockdown. With that, the two teams are getting ready for their three-Test matches respectively. The West Indies have decided to include Chemar Holder and Nkrumah Bonner on their 14-man squad. They also named 11 reserve players for the said tour. England, on the other hand, also dropped the names of their 55-man training group.
