Here are all the 3rd-week highlights for the month of June. 

Several major matches had badly been affected due to COVID-19. This includes the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) calling off two of their major matches against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. Aside from that, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the head of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Finance and Commercial Rights Committee also thought about how impossible it would be for the anticipated T20 World Cup to push through.

Meanwhile, in England’s first-class cricket, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has approved a financial package worth for a total of GBP 35.7 million to support their players during the course of the pandemic. Meanwhile, Tim Bresnan has decided to leave Yorkshire after spending 19 years of his career with them.

Cricket Australia has seen the resignation of Kevin Roberts and how he has been replaced by Nick Hockley as the interim chief executive of CA. Meanwhile, the ICC has warned against some new corrupt approaches which are occurring during the lockdown.
